The landscape goes from dull browns to clouds of yellow and green in a matter of days. The color of spring is intoxicating. That fresh, newborn green that gives our spirits a lift after a long, dreary winter is such a mood-booster. This pure silver young oak leaf pendant marks the start of spring and the explosion of green leaves.
This fine silver leaf necklace is a hand painted real oak leaf (small hole and all) so the true texture is simply gorgeous. A true stunner!

LEAF PROCESS:
Organic objects such as leaves often make the most unique and stunning patterns. Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. After finding a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree, I bring it home and paint about fifteen layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. I then fire it in the kiln to produce a gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf that can be cherished forever.
