Sean is a high school student in Middletown, NJ. When he is on vacation he is continually mesmerized by the native artists who create beautiful scenes with just spray paint, cups and plates and would watch them for hours. He creates his own art through hydro dipping - working with water and spray paint to create organic swirling patterns of color. The technique takes a lot of practice and trial and error: choosing colors and patterns, the speed and angle of dipping and finishing the pieces. He is constantly working on creating different textures and looks on his pieces - sometimes splattering the color while spraying or flicking paint on after it comes out of the water. It is an ever-evolving process.
