This unique pair of sterling silver nature inspired pure silver nature earrings began as aspen leaves I brought back from Colorado. They were created by hand painting the real leaves with 15 layers of silver, dried, kiln fired and finished. The earring wires are sterling silver.

LEAF PROCESS:
Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. After finding a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree, I bring it home and paint twelve layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. I then fire it in the kiln to produce this gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf that can be cherished forever.
