Mike grew up in a house surrounded by Art.  His father Milton was an animator for Walt Disney and also an art director at the renowned agency BBD&O.  Mike graduated from UCLA, where he studied Art and Design.

A California native, he relocated to NYC in the mid-1970's.  Today he works in the greater NY area with his home and studio by the Jersey Shore.  

Mike is available for custom home portraits.  His signature style is using bright colors and bold line work.  His works is in permanent collections of the Library of Congress, The NY Historical Society, The American Museum of Natural History, and the New York Times.  His clients have included the Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, World Cup Soccer, and many of the leading corporations in this country and abroad.
